Rawles Old Vine Zinfandel – 2021

Rawles Redwood Valley is an old vine vineyard that is entirely zinfandel that I source exclusively for Glassmaker. The vines were picked in late august and destemmed. Fermentation was 12 days on skins and it was aged in old oak barrels for 6 months. Took a bit of bottle age to really show the clean blueberry fruit and bramble with low abv that I like in zin and embracing zipping acid… not your daddy’s style, my style, ITALO DISCO
